WHITE HOUSE VETERAN, NATIVE ARKANSAN JOINS OPPORTUNITY ARKANSAS

Rachael Slobodien, a “seasoned conservative,” to serve as media liaison

LITTLE ROCK – Opportunity Arkansas today announced Rachael Slobodien has joined the organization as Senior Media Fellow.

A native Arkansan, Slobodien previously served as Chief of Staff of the White House Council of Economic Advisers in the Donald J. Trump Administration. Most recently, Rachael served as the Chief Communications Officer and Senior Advisor at the America First Policy Institute.

Rachael will work closely with the OA team to identify media opportunities and work to advance Opportunity Arkansas’s brand and reach across the state. As OA continues to research generational problems, educate the public about the consequences, and develop homegrown ideas for real change, Rachael will serve as a primary point of contact for the organization’s media efforts.

“We are thrilled to have Rachael join our team as a Senior Media Fellow,” said Opportunity Arkansas Founder and CEO Nic Horton. “With an impressive background operating at the highest levels, Rachael brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team. She’s a seasoned conservative with a deep love for Arkansas. I can’t wait to see how she helps OA expand our reach and advance our mission to renew the Land of Opportunity.”

Upon joining Opportunity Arkansas, Rachael Slobodien added, “After spending 15 years in DC, it’s so exciting to return home to Arkansas and be able to join such a robust, conservative policy outfit. In less than a year, with Nic’s tremendous leadership and tireless vision, Opportunity Arkansas has become the policy leader in the state. I’m humbled to get to work with Nic and his team as we continue work to provide commonsense conservative solutions and create opportunity for all Arkansans.”
