Hollis Wakefield

Public Relations Associate

While in high school, Hollis spent several years coaching and competing in speech and debate; this refined her communication skills and sparked her passionate interest in politics. After graduating, she became a coach for the SOAR Speech and Debate Club.

Hollis joined the Author Conservatory in January 2023 in pursuit of her goal of becoming a published author. On top of receiving intense training from professionals and writing multiple novels, she launched her virtual assistant business, Hollis Lee Virtual Assistance, in May, 2023. Through her business, she serves nonprofits and small business owners with her administration and content creating skills. These ventures trained her in communication, executive responsibilities, and writing effective content.

Outside of her work with OA, Hollis plays Rachmaninoff piano solos, reads classic 19th century novels, and pursues learning the violin. Most importantly, Hollis cherishes teaching her weekly Sunday school class at the Summit Church and relaxing with her family (while watching 80s sitcoms, of course).
